YOU MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER TO ATTEND.

CURRENT MEMBERS OF JBAN ARE ELIGIBLE TO RUN FOR BOARD POSITIONS.

We have a three open seats on our board if you are interested. At this meeting, board members are elected by the general membership. JBAN’s board is made up of 11 seats, 8 of which that are currently occupied. Each board member is elected for a two-year term. There is no limit on the number of terms that can be served. Board members meet the second Wednesday of every month at 6 pm. Board members are responsible for making sure the bylaws are upheld and that the objectives of our grants are met by staff and the board. The board also takes positions on developments in the neighborhood, ballot initiatives and other pertinent actions directly and indirectly impacting the safety and quality of life of our neighbors. Board members also represent and promote the organization throughout the greater Grand Rapids community.
